The cause of foot fungus, or mycosis, are dermatophytes (filamentous fungi), yeast and mold. The most favorable environment for them is heat and humidity. Remember that swimming pools, gyms, bowling alleys, public showers and hotels are areas with an increased risk of contracting fungal infections! You can also get the fungus at the store when you try on shoes or clothes.

The fungus cannot be seen with the naked eye, the feet look as usual, and the infection goes unnoticed for a long time. The first sign of the disease is itching between the toes, usually between the little fingers and the ring. Then the rash appears, the skin begins to peel and hurt.

Fungal prevention

closed feet - prevention of foot fungus

To successfully prevent infection, it is recommended that you follow a few simple rules:

  • do not go barefoot to the pool, sauna or hotel;
  • keep your feet clean, use an individual towel;
  • if you regularly have to deal with "risk factors", use the right tools every day to prevent fungus: disinfectant cream, clotrimazole lotion or antibacterial spray;
  • if it was not possible to avoid contact with an unsafe surface, for example, rent sports equipment (skates, ski boots) - treat the feet with an antibacterial spray, paying special attention to the spaces between the toes.

Remember: take good care of your feet and be vigilant against the slightest signs of a foot fungus!

If, however, you become infected with a foot fungus, in addition to the main treatment, you should take care of two other things: in no case prevent the spread of the infection at home, among your loved ones; prevent re-infection.

  • Do not let anyone near you use your shoes! Make sure all family members have individual shoes.
  • Wash clothes at temperatures above 60 degrees.
  • To prevent fungus in your family, regularly treat all shoes at home with an antibacterial spray;
  • Even after getting rid of foot fungus, there is a risk of re-infection through your shoes. To avoid this, carefully spray the inside of each pair with an antibacterial spray.

Remember, it takes 20 to 30 days for a fungal foot to heal!

The idea of putting feet in socks or shoes is tempting only at first glance. Fungal infection not only spoils the appearance of the foot, but is accompanied by an unpleasant odor, which can cause serious discomfort.

In addition to preventing fungus, antibacterial spray has deodorant properties and will help remove this delicate problem.

Bad breath is the result of a variety of bacteria and can be annoying even if you do not have foot fungus. Deodorant properties are the main advantage of an antibacterial spray compared to conventional foot fungus prevention remedies. An antibacterial spray will not only save your feet from unpleasant odors, but will also destroy the bacteria - the source of the problem.

Remember: the success and quality of your life depend directly on comfort and self-confidence!
